Here is our layouts for week three. Leah rocked out the messy layout for the second challenge for week 3. and i had modem troubles this week so i was so glad that it was a one person layout.

Challenge was to figure out what was passed down to you, from whom, and memorialize it. There are so many choices here - what speaks to your heart the most is the one to choose.

Brandy's-Patience

Thursday's challenge was to create a "messy" style layout. Please use a solid paper and only 2 patterns for any paper extras. You must use at least 15 elements and no more than two elements can be from the same designer. Please do not use the same element repetetively more than twice as this counts as your two items per designer. Use this roadblock to challenge your creativity and to think outside your normal scrapping box. The messier the better and please feel free to use more than 15 elements as that is the minimum requirement only. We would also love to see some fancy title work (an alpha used for your title work can be considered one element) and there should be at least a tiny bit of journaling. Include dates, location and names somewhere on the layout.

Well lets see it's friday and here are my plans for the weekend:
Today-going to walmart and getting some stuff then dinner with my MIL and (soon to be)FIL. then watching Pursuit of Happyness
Tomarro-We have MIL's wedding. then prob nothing. will watch the dvd if i dont tonight.
Sunday-we have friends over for dinner and cleaning durring the day.

question #1 who’s your dreamy dreamy steamy hottie (and hubby’s don’t count) don’t just answer.. post up a picture, I need eye candy!
Well anyone that knows me it's no big secret. i have two yummys and just happen to have them in the same picture:

question#2 what is the goofiest thing you’ve said/done this week?
Hmm owen gets me to say all kinds of goofy things like "dont put that toy in the milk!" or "no you cant stand in the fridge with the door shut" or "no taking a nap doesnt mean hiding under the table" but he is a goofy boy so goofy things are to be said.

question #3 If I (or some random other person, as I can’t really answer this properly otherwise haha) walked into your house RIGHT NOW, what would embarrass you the most (be it an item, a mess, your fridge.. whatever)?
Probably my bedroom as it is still a big jumble of a mess from moving ugh!

question #4 what creepy things do you have living (or growing.. ) under your bed (due to lack of cleaning of course )?
Nothing because we have no bed frame. lol with the window by the bed the frame would make it too high lol.

question #5 have you ever done a drive by fart in the super market? Did anyone notice?
ME?!?! Never! I’m a LADY. hah --->good one lauren!

What a month it's been....and a toot!!

ever have one of those months that just seems to be one thing after another?! boy has it been here. First my FIL (well soon to be) had a heart attack the last week of march. Come to find out it was caused by his gall bladder removed. so then on the 1st of April (also his b-day) they do the surgery to take it out. it goes good, until his lungs collapse and they get them back up and he spends a week in ICU....oh and him and my mil are set to get married this saturday so she is so stressed out. then it seems that no matter how much we save we just cant get ahead. last week we only had 5 bucks in the bank. then AFTER pay day it was 4 bucks. then jeff comes home and says "something hit my car and the drivers door wont open. i have to climb through the passenger side to get in." Ugh come on! of course being jeff he then decided, that he didnt wanna do that anymore and insted of having it looked at by his brother, bends it open as far as it can to squeeze in. NOW with the door shut you can LOOK into the spot where the door is being pushed out . And the on the night before easter about a 2-3 hours after we are over there to dye eggs, mom calls and says they are rushing my grandma to the hospital via ambulance as she says her chest is tightening and she cant breath (back up info on my grandma she has enphazima and has an oxygen machine at home to use and a nebulizer that she uses and has been under quite alot of stress latly due to mom and sister l-o-n-g story) and so that gets me freaked out and i cnat go to sleep til she calls back. she finally goes bout 1am and says they said she was trying to have a heart attack at her house and they stoped it, and then i guess she tried to have another one sunday morning. They kept her overnight and sunday as well. It was really really just not right having easter dinner at her house (per her orders lol) Something that if god forbid happens, we wont be able to keep having holidays over there because it will just not feel right. so Mom called this afternoon and said that she thought they said Grandma had Gastric Reflex (which i've never heard of) or acid reflex she couldnt remember at the moment. Then today i wake up wash out a sippy for owen and i look down cuz my feet are wet and there is just bunch of water pour out of my cupboard under the sink. i open it up to find 1-3inches of water and a pipe that unscrewed it's self. that was how i felt. thankfully owen has been sooooo good today. it really helped. and that they showed us how to fix it should it happen agian (all it needed was to be pushed up and something else that jeff knows how to do) but i am just ready to hide under a rock until it gets better thanks for reading if u did.

Well it's been a groggy icky day here today. but i'm so happy to annouce that my sister had her baby yesterday. She named Her Sarah Marie Inez Taylor-lang. and she weighted in at 4lbs 13oz. and is just beautiful!!

Well not really a whole lot to post on today. but i thought i'd do the sweete shoppe's from our blog to yours challenge and tell u alil bit about our hole in the wall city of Rockford Il. here is where it is located at:

We have some beautiful gardens and a petting zoo as well. we are about 30minuets outside chicago so we are easily accessable to the zoos there too. We have an amazing water park Magic Waters. it's always packed though so we dont go to often. lets see, here is one of my FAVORITE local fast food place Beef-a-roo. this restraunt chain is so neat because there are 8 of them in rockford(and smaller surrounding cities) and they are all different themes. here they are:

woot! and i couldnt be happier. It is REALLY REALLY nice out today and of course we are getting lil colds....poor oj's nose is like a broken faucet. but i am just SO ready for the warmer weather. all this cold weather is depressing. oh and guess what?!

OUR PHONE IS TURNED ON!!!!! woot!!! So glad that is working. now seems like everything is working. ran my dishwasher for the FIRST time last night and oh so love it :D. but lets see, weekend plans lets get to those:
Today: we have a b-day party for my cousin tonight a 6. then we are picking up my buddy and she is gonna baby sit for us as we are going out to Old Chicago for some drinks and food...then we might either go bowling ((woot woot)) or go see Hog Wild which looks so funny. so it's a win win situation. cant wait. so excited :D we havent had a night out together in a L-O-N-G time lol.

Tomarro: Bring her home and that is bout that i think. not really anything major planed.

Sunday-Scrap til i drop!! hehe i got major catching up to do from being offline lol.

Oh and here is my 3 questions for the Sweet Shoppe Blog today:

1. If you could witness one supernatural event–whether you believe in the supernatural or not–what would it be? Why?hmm witness a supernatural event. I'm not really sure. I think i'd love to be able to acctually see Jesus and see what the bible says he was/is. just think that would be
beyound crazy cool.

2. What is your earliest memory? Why do you think you have remembered that particular event or thing? I would have to say the last time i acctually talked to my "dad" on the phone. I remember it because it was special and important to me. It was a painful memory because he never wanted me really. but it made me strong and who i am today.

3. Pick a friend or acquaintance with whom you think you would like to start a new business venture. What business? Hmm.... i think it would be crazy cool for me and Oj to do a new buisness with Lauren (grier) and Connor. Not sure on the business that it would be because we both have CRAZY boys with wild and active imaginations. but i know it would kick butt and be fun.

Finally It's the weekend...

Ugh and couldn't come any sooner. First off, we FINALLY get a car. after almost a week of not having one. ugh. adn then it needs to be Kept overnight AGAIN. ugh. But tomarro is the big move! we are FINALLY moving into our very own home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and Hubby is on vacation...i know he really needs the time off work.

Well I'm suppose to describe my week in 5 songs so lets see......

Manic Monday-Bangles- I think this works for anyone having a bad week. Ugh we spent so much time monday trying to find a stinking car. ugh. that and get the boxes packed for the house and groceries done and all the while taking care of oj.

Lord Give Me A Sign-DMX- There has just been sooooooooooooo many things going wrong that i cant see myself outta this whole. I knwo there is a light at the end but i've been Burried sooo deep that i dont think I can see it anymore.

Lovehatetragedy-papa roach-just when it seems things are looking up we are shoved 10 feet back. we finally get a car and it's in the shop for the night due to wipers not working at all. and they dont wanna put it together so we had to take his mom's car agian for the night. :sigh:

Tonight I Wanna Cry-Keith Urban- Ugh this has been pure hell for us this week. I'm to the point of stress where all i seem to be doing is sleeping *when i can* or crying when anything goes wrong. I'm just ready for a better week.

I could not ask for more-sara evans- Despite all that has happened this week, the snow storms the car troubles the getting ready to move on saturday, Jeff has been so awsome. He is taking the blunt of this stress but he is just so amazing that he isnt showing that it is effecting him. He is so strong for his family and i couldnt ask for a better man to call my husband and best friend then Jeff.

What a great start to the weekend.....

NOT!!!! ugh. I've decided that I'm getting in bed and not coming out until things are better. ugh. so Wed we FINALLY get the money to pay back his cousin. He lent us like 800 and we had 750 left to pay him. and so we sent that off wed. then of course Thursday, we were heading over to the new house to look and make sure they can put a dish washer in..which they can but dont know when we'll get it done now...his stupid car just starts rattling and clanking like it's going to blow up....which of course we are all THREE in the car. so he thoguht it was the oil because after having it changed a week or so ago it was still leaking....well come to find out it looks like a head gasket is leaking. and it cost 55 dollars to get it to the car place and come to find out they dont fix the stupid problem there so it's another bunch of money we dont have to tow it somewhere else.

Well this weekend was suppose to be a good one and pretty busy.

tomarro: i was suppose to be going to a b-day party for my lil cousin...but now with this stupid snow storm that is suppose to be coming i have no clue if we are still going or not.

Sun: we were suppose to go to chuck e cheese with some friends and that fell through with the stinking car issues. so then i asked why don't you see bout moving all the junk out. and now with the snow i have NO clue if we can do that either.... ::cry::

But on a brighter note lol. As i was reading the Sweet Shoppe's blog, today's post was titled: "from our blog to yours" and the question was rather interesting lol. here it is:

"If you were a man, which SugarBabe or SSD designer would you want to take out on a date? Why? Where will you take her?"

Well lets see i know that the person i'd pick would be Lauren Grier. I've known lauren since i was bout what 6-7 months pregnant with oj. She is just an amazing person and an awsome friend. She has helped me with and through so many problems.....that i'd be lost with out her. and what would i do with her? hmmm well though i'd be a man lol i still wouldnt do anything TOO crazy lol i wouldnt want T after me lol. but i think we'd just have a nice walk and talk and have NO KIDS around lmao then treat her to what ever she wanted lol.

Yes It's Friday!!

that is right everyone.........we now have the keys to the house!!! so excited. was going to get pics of the house yesterday but :( the camera batteries died of course. so hopefully today or tomarro i can get some pics. we are soooo excited and moving the 3rd of March...Yikes that really isnt that far away!!! blah on packing...how bout we get a huge box and dump the whole apartment into it and be done lol. if only it was that easy.

Oh Oh!! and we walked away with a check from them for FOUR HUNDRED and EIGHT ONE dollars!! that just made the day better .....lol. Now comes the fun of deciding on a color for our bedroom and the curtins/blinds we want lol.

So lets see, this weekend it is going to be pretty busy i think. lets break it down a bit:

Today-do some grocery shopping and possibly get some of the house cleaned and a couple boxes moved over. then go to walmart as well and get the apartment cleaned.

Tomarro: Jeff is going to the gym, so while he is gone i'll be getting some stuff packed and cleaned up here at the apartment. then if we didnt go do the stuff we wanted to yesterday we will today.

Sunday: watch my show(s) in the A.M. and then make sure the apartment is clean as we (possibly) have a friend coming over to watch a wrestling pay-per-veiw with us.

Monday-help move out our friend's mom and then possibly head back to the house since they live over there. and then do some shopping.

Lets see a hobby besides Digi scrapping...hmm that has to be reading and Writing. I love to read though i dont get the chance to now as i use to before lol. But i love writting as well. I have probably enough for a book of my own poems..which is mainly what i righ. I still write some here and there though i'm usually not inspired as i use to be lol. But be on the look out, maybe i'll post some in the future lol.

So today is friday and that mean one thing.....6 days until we close on the house!!!! yay cant wait. going to start monday with getting the non essential things packed up and ready to move. then get the apartment into as best shape as possible. so happy!!

Now tomarro we are going to get My sister's baby shower gift with my grandma. Owen is excited, because he packed his own lil gift. he was so proud. picked out some old baby toys of his, and his baby blaket we used to cover his carseat carrier, and some of his burp cloths and a gift for aunt TT lol. so now mommy gets to wrap it and remember to grab it tomarro when we go to stay with my mom. then sunday is the shower and i hope it goes good. gonna come home and start some packing and cleaning. then the same for monday.

Ugh! So jeff is shopping around for the best deal on our homeowners insurance which we had to get to the Bank by the 5th of next month, and he calls thsi one place and they get the info and give jeff a quote, and it was higher then somewhere else we were quoted, but he was told they'd send us info in the mail, well then he gets an email from the place saying they talked to the bank and are getting the ball rolling and set up for us to use them. um okay? then i get the mail today and more quotes are mailed out. then i get to this card size envelope...in it is a card from the insurance place and i quote:

Jeff, thanks for letting our insurance agency the opportunity to take care of
your insurance needs. I have made contact with the bank and we are good to go. I
will contact you via home phone or email for payment information. then goes on
to say dont hesitate to call with questions.

and of course it's hand written. while reading it im like um? when did we decide this? just ugh! i dont like pushy people. blah. i told jeff to call them but he says he wont it's not final unless we pay them and we arent using them so we're not gonna pay them. i was like just call them ugh.

**blows off the dust and cleans up the cob webs**

Has it REALLY been over 2 months since i've last blogged?! ....well when i sit and think about it, yes it has it's been a whirl wind of craziness latly lets try and see if i can update a bit shall we? so go grab a drink some food and buckle up it's gonna be a crazy ride....lol

Well let's see, me i'm doing fine. Been working at toys r us for about a month now and it has it's good days and it's bad. been working like crazy but the checks are good and getting them every week is even better. and Jeffery is doing alright as well. Been working like crazy and taking care of oj and the house when i work. And owen well all is good with him. the dr said he is doing great and we're doing a great job. (what parent doesnt love to hear that one lol) and he now as of 2yrs and 1 month and 5 days old, weights in at: 29.3lbs (75% percentile) and is 39.5 inches long (95% percentile) and all is good with him. he is right on track where he should be. Which daddy was happy to hear as he was worried she'd say he was underweight cuz he is so skinny and boney. but like she said he is so active that teh weight just burns off. Plus like i told jeff, he is going to be tall like him and have my matabolism and body structure as everyone on my side is like that small framed. my lil brother was like owen til bout just recently lol.

now on to the not so good news, Jeff's aunt passed away on the 16th. We knew it was coming and still not ready for it. the funeral was beautiful adn went along amazingly. we think she would've liked it. but now his uncle was taken to the hospital for chest pains and irregular heartbeats. that was at 9:37 this morning. so we are taking it as no news is good news. so we're praying it is all okay now. And then the computer is being weird and not letting us on and what not. so grrrr....ready for the holidays to be over.

welp that is what is going on in my life right now, hope all is well with everyone else.

My First Day of Work

I ended up getting ready 30 minuets earlier then i needed to. the phone rings and they called to ask if i could come in earlier. so i said sure be there in 30 minuets. so i get to go in an hour earlier. and i get there and started to train on the register right away. that goes great. really not different then the other three i've ran lol. then bout 2hrs into beign there and i start to get REALLY sweaty and hard to focus and see and i thought i was going to pass out. now this is odd for me now, because when i was pregnant with owen...bout 4-6 months along i had this happen to me bout 3-4 times. once in the shower thank goodness jeff was in there because i acctually did pass out. still dont remember it. but they could NEVER figure out why i did that. all the tests they did came back normal. so they stoped on their own and didnt come back til well today. thankfully i didnt pass out and make a fool of myself on the first day. (as it was everyone thought i was 16 lol and gave me a crazed look of shock when i mentioned my son and husband lol) so i got a drink and sat down for a few seconds and it went away. i'm not sure if i got over hot and clasuterphobic (sp) *they gave me a button down long sleeve shirt) or what but it scared me. so i dont know, but i started to run it on my own by 1:30 and everyone seems surprised that i picked it up so fast. so i hope that that and being able to come in earlier and stuff will stick out when they decide to let go or keep me on. and then i feel like a horrible mother because my son wont get his b-day invites sent out because were poor and have no money to buy stupid stamps and if i cant call everyone he will only have like 2 ppl there and i cant get him what i want to get him and i feel horrible because i dont even know what to get for him. it made me feel worse when he was sitting on my lap and i busted out cryin and he is trying to kiss away my tears saying "mama ight?!" that made it worse. okay my babble is over thanks for reading.

Just How My Luck Is...

so first of all the itching and chest pains have stoped and all the spots are gone as well!!!! YAY and I get a call back from Toys R Us to set up an oriantation on Thursday at Noon!!! YAY!!! so that made my day...but then comes the downfall,

Now that the hives and chest pains are gone my wisdom teeth are back to killing me. i am so close to just having Jeff rip them out of my mouth NOW. and then my sister calls and tells me that she changed her baby names....and decided to use the name i had picked for owen if he was a she. it was just like a slap in the face. i mean when i told her and mom the names i never thought that she would be 17 and pregnant. so i dont know. just makes me angry. petty i'm sure but ugh.

so it was a good and bad day i guess.

well i woke up today with some spots all over my arms and stuff. but after i took the meds it didnt itch as much so thank goodness. it really hasnt itched at all. i hope it is over with. but of course now i have really bad chest pains agian. it starts out like a dulling pain and then goes into a sharp peak of pain and then slowly goes back to a dull pain then goes away and comes back. so i've had this happen before but never remember to say anything to the dr. so if it doesnt stop soon i'm gonna call the dr and make an appointment. so that is what is going on here. hopefully i dont need to take the benadryl anymore because i dont like to take anything that makes me drowsy if it's just me and owen. but if i have to i have to. and i hate how things are so expensive. i just forked up 370 bucks for my wisdom teeth. man it woulda been so great to go spend it on stuff for owen and some clothes for us and or shoes lol but i know i need these removed. hopefully when i get these out things will start looking up. and i have a good feeling about the Toys R us Job and so i hope to hear from them soon *fingers crossed*

blah so it was suppose to be a great day. it was Owen and my neice's second b-day party and everyone was having fun despite the birthday people taking a nap lol. but then bout an hour after we get there my neck is just hot and burning and itching soooo crazy. I went in there and asked jeff if it was all red and he goes "wtf did u get into?" and i was confused. so i went to look and it was all red with hives all over. i freaked cuz I've NEVER had them before in my life. i thought it was the Axe spray i used. So jeff says "use aloe vera" well it got rid of what was on the front of my neck but nothing else on my neck and in my ear. so I get home (we waited for the party to end....Didnt itch since i was focusing all i could on oj) and i take a shower. and i get out and it started with little spots on my sides. i'm liek WTF nothing in my shower routine has changed. then i could feel my jaw puff up and stuff too. so i'm like great. thankfully owen was pretty good for me and watched over the hedge before bed. not much of a fight. and i looked on my hand....had a couple of spots. then in the next 5 minuets it was all red and itchy. and my other hand started the spots too. then i look under my shirt and my sides and tummy are crazy red and hivey and blah. so my mom took me to the Emergancy room and they were like "oh you poor thing" i understand i look young and i guess they could've treated me crappy cuz im on public aid insurance, and they start talking to me like I'm 4 yrs old. the dr was walked in and was like "oh hunny you poor thing! you must be miserable" i was NOT in a great peachy mood by then and was thinking....ya think?! so they give me some cortizone shot, benadryl, pepsid and something else. that started to work almost instantly and all i wanted to do was sleep lol. i finally got home at i think 12 or so. i think i talked to jeff all i remember doing was crashing in bed lmao. but here are pics of my sides and tummy and my neck (if u can see it on there little dark .... it's from the party)

and thought gosh i wish it was this easy in real life to get your hair how you long/short you want it to be lol. and by the way this post started, yes i'm in the process of trying to grow my hair out. i miss it being longish and pulling it into a pony when i dont want to gel it up and all that jaz. but it feels like it is taking FOREVER to grow to atleast one length lol.

And on to other notes lol, i have another kit in works that i think is going pretty good. got most the stuff finished so that is a plus lmao.

and blah for the last two-ish days, i've been feeling VERY nausiated blah. I usually dont get Nauseated on my period so i dont know but blah. i hate it lol.

i went to get x-rays for my teeth today and blah on that whole thing. first i hate getting the x-rays cuz they shove the square things in there lmao. but he tells me my bottom two are touching a nerve that controls my bottom lip. and he wont know if it causes any problems until they pull them. He says i have a 1-2% chance of Permantly being paralized of the bottom lip. but he has NEVER had anyone have this happen. He has seen cases MUCH worse then mine. and if anything it'd be partially paralized for a little bit. or it could come out just fine. he didnt seem worried so i am not and said lets get this done lol. so it's all set up for 1:00 pm on Nov 20th. so that is good. and i had an interview yesterday and i think it went pretty good. it was at Toys R Us. she told me i'd hear from them beginning of next week! so fingers crossed

think that is about it for me today lol

The Good and The Bad

well today has been ONE hell of a day. so glad it is over. First we go and get diapers at K-mart and find out his toddler bed and table and chairs that we want to get are at a GREAT deal with only 10.00 dollars down for layaway. so we had to grab them. it would've been dumb to not have lol. so we got the major part of owen's christmas presents out of the way. so that was a big relief. then we went to breakfast with my mom aunt grandma and uncle. then we were suppose to stop by my grandma's and get owen's birthday invite to scan and make copies of. so we get ready to go get the invite and my mom comes bolting out of my grandma's bathroom, my sister was screaming, crying saying her belly hurt...she's 17 and 16 weeks pregnant....and so they thought she was having a miscarriage as she has been having ALOT of back pain (but she usually has back pain) so i told my mom wait, grab owen and the poor lil guy was yanked up with no coat or shoes lol (good thing he had on thick socks lol) and i bout ran out with no shoes on, then we almost left his carseat. owen's like "um mom?!" and we pick her up and she seemed better. but the nurse said it'd be good to take her to the ER. we get there and her blood pressure which is normally high was really low. so they go back in and wait and then mom comes out and says they think it is her gallbladder. so we are trying to keep a cranky whinny 2 yr old boy. lets just say that wasnt fun. we did alot of running around the hospital lol. so we finally bout 3:45 (we had been there since 12 with oj) told my mom that my aunt was gonna drop me and oj at home cuz she had to go get her little ones. and i walked in the door and there was my CAMERA!!!!! omg i love it. it is awsome. so clear and just awsome lol. then my day got a little better, i have an interview at Toys R Us at 2pm tomarro afternoon....i'm so excited. i had just applied online sat. so fingers crossed.

whew. if you read it all what a saint. hope everyone had a great day.

Well I've come to the decision that there are things i need to change. Such as keeping the house in order better and stuff. and thanks to the newest challenge at the digi chicks, I think it's going to work out great, i've seen the things i need to change that arent helping and stuff. so this should be a great challenge. working on my daily check list of things to get done now.

I did the 15 minuets of cleaning the room that needed the most, and well i ended up spending 30 minuets on the front room and i threw out sooooo much junk and felt so much better too. finally got rid of papers and stuff that i said i was going to get rid of but never did. And i got things in places where i'll remember to put things. and got all the crumbs from owen off the floor. And then today i got up got the bed made and got dressed and felt more awake then when i lounge all day. so i'm thinking this is going to work.

cant believe it....11 days and it's my b-day!!! yes my b-day is on halloween. so after oj goes to bed i'm gonna get my drink on lol. what can be better then birthday cake and alchol..lol. but other then that we are going out to lunch and a movie on the 30th since his mom is off to watch oj. and then the 29th is the wwe wrestling event....so excited lol. and then the 5th is owen's party with Jeff's side and then the 18th is with my side and he is 2 on the 16th,....wow cant believe he is almost 2?!

so we still havent gotten a halloween costume for owen yet. but since it's payday were gonna go out to tru and look. if not then try K-mart and see if the penguin or super man one is there. so cant wait to go get it. then we gotta hit the mall and see if we can find me a winter coat. there was one i was really wanting but they dont have it so i wanna see if they have it at the mall. other then that not much going on. I go the 1st of Nov for a consultation on my wisdom teeth and get x-rays done. so that'll be fun....haha. other then that nothing really.

Well first off it's been a great week so far....yes it just started but still going great. My baby boy is 23 months old!!! when did that happen? cant believe it. he is too smart for his own good too. but still cute as a button. cant wait to have his parties.

Next i'm SOOOOOOOO excited. first i got the $$ to get my 4 wisdom teeth removed....and it'll leave me with 100 bucks to get a much needed winter coat!!!! and then i find out today that my mother in law is buying me my camera for my birthday!!!!!!! she said since she didnt get me anything for my birthday last year she wants to get it for me.....so i'd be nuts to pass it up...lol. and then that means since i told everyone to give me $$ for my birthday to go for my camera funds lol, that i can get even more winter clothes for me and oj!!!! YAY!!! so been a good week so far.

so we watched my niece today because my sister in law had to get knee surgery and my mother in law went with her. well i realized i'd feel my family was complete once with one more child....preferably a little girl. my neice is 10 days older then owen and is so cute. i loved having the four of us "rough" housing around. Jeff asked if i could handle this all day for at least 8 hrs a day. i told him of course. i mean some days will be rough but not all of them. so that was our day today lol. now off to do some scrapping i hope lol....waiting for gilmore girls and friday night lights to start at 7 lol.

and we have our first snow fall !! i HATE snow. it's evil...lol. but they said it wouldnt stick...wake up and there is snow on the ground. ..... not ready for this. still need to get brand new tires for jeff's car. and owen needs snow pants and boots and i need a heavy winter jacket....blah on that. and of course the stupid apartment people havent came to cover our a/c vents yet! so it's snowing and our a/c is still in!!!!! and we cant take it out yet because they have the inside and outside covers for it...blah on that and still no heat. they say soon...but who knows. it's bull. now were gonna get colds because of this. grrrr!

well it's been a while since i updated my blog lol. i've been sooooo tired all the time latly. hopefully i can get my molars worked on soon....hopefully lol. think i have a plan for it but we will see.....

yes i finished my first kit so..okay my first full kit lol. so stay tuned and you'll get the goodies. but first i'm sure i should update on everything lol.

Well first off dental work sucks. I need my molars out but due to insurance we'd still have to pay 300-400 for me having to be put under. so they hurt like well we all know lol. but im hoping to get them out soon....blah on that. And Owen is into his terrible two's stage. such a grouchy boy that thinks he is right ALL the time. today i look down as he is saying "momma i did a boo boo" and see he colored big circles on the tops of his feet with a pen. then he thought it'd be fun to get his wipes box down and stand on top of it. all i hear is this big crack and "ow! momma i said ow" so after buying a refill pack today jeff has to buy a brand new tub of wipes tonight at work....grrr. that boy is gonna make me go grey lol.

it's monday and the first monday of the month. well it's going to be a great month. hopefully i get my camera soon. I have decided on which one i want and will show in a sec. and i turn 21 at the end of the month. dont really care though lol just another day. and then it's owen's second year going trick or treating. and this yr i'm SOOO excited. he picked up right away on saying trick or treat though it comes out: Tick-a-teet. he has been running around all weekend saying it. still havent decided on his costume yet but we'll get there soon. then we have tickets to the WWE Raw live show that is coming back on the 29th....yes it's wrestling and YES it's fake but i grew up watching it lmao so i love it...and they look so good in the blue jeans lol....well some of them. so that is exciting too since they are floor seats. i think jeff said third row from the ring. so thats cool. hopefully i can see this time lol.

so wow it is thursday already! it seems that these days are just flying by. cant believe it is already almost Oct. wow then in alittle more then a month my baby will be 2?! wow how did that happen. thats craziness.

so as we know my camera died. well i told everyone for my birthday to give me cash because i need/want a camera ASAP and well i THINK that i found a couple i like but still arent sold on any yet lol. but here are some pics:

so lets see it's wednesday and it's an icky day out. cold and cloudy blah! so i'm thinking that were going back to blue's clues for owen's birthday as he has been spazing out as soon as it is over and stuff but i dont know....still a month to decide lol. maybe we will do blue's clues at Jeff's mom's side and Cars for my mom's side. but i dont know yet lol. i need to get invites done and printed so i can get them copied and sent out and stuff. so that will be fun. i am makin them this year so im excited lol. i'll be sure to post a preview of it all lol when i get it done. gotta find the right picture. and lets see this weekend i dont think we have any plans. hubby has to work 10 days straight from monday til i think next wednesday or thursday. so blah on that. so we will probably just sit at home all weekend lol.

well it was a pretty good weekend i guess. Sat we had a wedding and reception to go to and my lil sister watched owen. all in all it was a great time. our friend made a beautiful bride and it was great to get together with people from high school agian. and owen loves his aunt tt so he is always good for her. then sunday jeff was glad that the bears won...blah on that deal. lol

But a bit of sad new, i noticed saturday as the wedding was starting that my poor camera was dying and now it only stays on for 2 seconds. this is what happened to my sil's camera about a month ago. both of us havent had them that long. two different models but both kodak. so we're looking into gettin me a semi reasonable camera that isnt a kodak. blah on that mess. so i'll be outta my camera til i dont know when...hopefully before owen's birthday :(

oh and here is an update on us,

Momma- is good. my prozac is doing alot better then my zoloft so that is great news lol. and it's my b-day in about 38 days lmao so excited. and other then that nothing really new in my side of things lol

Daddy- is doing good. he has to work 10 straight days this coming week, since they schedualed him for the first and all. so that's gonna suck but it'll be extra cash so that is good lol. and his back is doing good. he has to call soon about what to do next...shot or not. so hope he doesnt have to get a shot because we cant afford him to be off work for a week each time he gets the shot (which looks like once 1-2 months in between) so dont know what to think bout that yet lol.

Owen- well he is 22 months now and growing liek a weed. he is getting to smart for me now lol. and he says so many new things...his favorite is "mean mean momma" thanks SOOOO much to daddy. he says "tweet tweet" alot lol. and as well as "i love you" it's soooo cute. and we realized he is now too big for his play pen that he naps in at Wa Wa (mamaw)'s house as he climbes outta it in like 2 seconds now so blah!! lol and he got his first baby doll! he loves it. tries to feed him his bottle and stuff lol. he runs around carring it saying "baybay momma baybay" it's so cute

Thursday thoughts

so here it is agian thursday and almost the weekend. and YAY it's payday! which means we get to go shopping for Owen and myself lol. but i wish it wasnt so dang cold lol. as much as i hated the hot summer i really wasnt ready for it to be so cold so fast lol.

so we spent ALLLLLL day yesterday cleaning and i was up at 7 cleaning our room and blah so glad it's all done lol. and i've been trying to get some kits scrapped and lol well thats not working lol.

so we got some good plans this weekend,

friday-gotta pick up the wedding gift for our friends.
sat- is the wedding and reception and aunt "tt" as owen calls her is stayin over and babysitting.
sunday- football football foootball! lol jeff is excited. he is so glad football is back on lmao.

other then that not much to do this weekend lol. hope everyone is having a good day :)

thats right only 210 days until im an AUNT!!! im so excited my sister is preggo!!! i'm so excited and happy for her. her and her bf are so excited. i cant wait lol

but now on to the stupid news. we go out forgetting they are going to come and spray for bugs and blah now they say our apartment was trashed and this and that and ugh it wasnt. so jeff spent ALL day cleaning and then i gotta get the kitchen/bathroom and bedroom done tonight. i'm so ready to be done with this apartment. blah lol

Job Hunting

Once agian im off to put some applications in at an antique mall and gordman's clothing store. so fingers crossed i get one of these. they'd both be a good job. then we are going to the pumpkin patch in 2 weeks and im so excited i cant wait! i know Owen will have alot more fun this time then last year.

Oh! and i also sent in my Mini Kit for the Scrap Artist apprentice contest!!! yay im so excited and nervous. i reallly wanna start designing my own stuff and i think that this is the push that i needed. so fingers crossed that i do pretty good lol. and of course once the freebie kit is on the site, i will for sure post a link to it here. im so excited i think it turned out pretty good lol.

Happy 22 Months!

that is right, my beautiful baby boy is 22 months old?! where did this time go?! i can't believe owen is 22 months old. wow. i look at him and he is so silly and funny and yet at the same time he is so caring and loving it is unreal that at that age that he can feel and show that kind of emotions. it's so cool to watch him grow and learn and play. he is so silly that it makes me laugh every single time. he always knows how to make some one feel better with a smile or silly face or silly move. and he is just the cutest thing and he knows it lol. here is something i wrote for him today:

wow that seems hard to believe.

Seems we were just bringing you home,

yay im so excited! we got a 36.41 dollar check in the mail today for our electric deposit! so this is awsome we can get owen and me an out fit and or jeans at walamart!!! lol. and that is the highligh of the weekend lol. monday we are taking owen to the pumpkin patch with my sil,mil,and niece (10 days older then oj) and so i'll have lots of pics hopefully he loved the animals last year and he might get to go twice this year lol. then monday we are also taking clothes over my mil's to wash *lol* and then having dinner over there since hubby bought a 2lb salsbury steak meal cuz it was a "good deal" im like WTF?! how are three people gonna eat 2lbs of meat lol thats alot to go to waste since we arent left over kinda people unless it's something i've been craving lol. so were takin that over and gonna have dinner with them lol. so that should be fun.and i HATE when people stop over with out ANY warning. blah. my mil and sil and niece did today because they were in the area. i'da liked a call *she has a cell* cuz yeah with us sick my house was a mess. i was runnin around like a chicken with it's head cut off before they finaly got down here (thank goodness for living farthest from the visitor parking lol) and still wasnt fully picked up. oj had food on the floor and blah blah blah. lol oh and on this photo i had to share, i found it in the older folder of my photos. i decided to use it as an expression challenge because the look on his face is too precious and funny lol. here is it:

Well after a few days or forever like it seems, the sun is FINALLY out yay! still cold out but the sun is out lol. so maybe it wont be a dreary day and i can get some dang laundry done lol.

so bout 3 months ago maybe more, we decided to join bally's gym and stuff. we got a gret deal on a membership with day care and owen loved the day care and it was going good. then my mouth started to hurt so bad, so i didnt wanna go. then jeff got hurt and he hasnt wanted to go. now we get this letter in the mail that if we can come up with 800 dollars and send it in by the 22nd we can pay the WHOLE membership off. so of course we think awsome now how do we come up with that much? we tried increasing credit limits....nope. and our families dont have that kinda cash just laying around. but jeff called a family member in fl, and he will loan us the cash and we can pay him back with 100 every month!!!! omg we figured it out that will save us 400+ dollars a month (with it not going to credit cards and making them more expensive) to have to play around with!!!! thats great because owen so needs new winter/fall clothes as do i and we all need new shoes! YAY we might not be broke anymore after this!!!! omg that made my night.

oh and i sent in (well a little early lol must have over looked the date to send it in lol) my entry for the scrap artist aprentice contest!!! im sooooo excited. i really wanna start designing my own stuff and think that this would be a good shot to try lol. I cant wait to show it off. when it goes in the freebie gallery i'll be sure to post a link here lol.

Man can you believe that it is almost time for owen's 2nd birthday?! i cant beleive it. we were going to go with a blue's clues theme (since last year they didnt have it when we went to get the decorations ) but this is the theme were going with and one of the decorations that we are getting for his party. they are called Scene Setters, they look really neat:

i think owe will love it! he is so into his cars right now. i cant wait. and im designing his invites!! omg i'm so excited. cant believe my baby boy is going to be 2 in nov?!!

well today is another icky nasty cold day out. and to top it all off, now me and owen are both sick. so it'll be a fun day when all i wanna do is sleep and i have laundry to do at nap time lol. and so really there isnt anything going on. but i thought i'd share a funny convo between me and owen.

so the story behind it is some guy was walking over to do laundry when me and owen went to get the mail. and here is owen being a typical almost 2 yr old:

Owen: :Wha's that?"
Momma: "He is doing his laundry"

O: "whyyyyy?"
M: "because his clothes are dirty"

O: "whyyyyyy?"
M: " because he probably went out to some places"

O: "whyyyyyyyyyy?"
M: "because he has money"

O: "oooooooooooooooooh! hahahahahaha"

Tuesday's thoughts

well lets see what is going on right now? way to much i guess lol. there is a few things i need to get done this week and blah on it all. i hate this weather. its been so gloomy and grey the last couple days all i wanna do is sleep lol. of course the first thing i hear in the mornings is this little voice screaming: "mooooooooooooooooooooooooooooomma!!!" from his crib and i know it's time to get up. so as i roll outta bed i realize that i need to get laundry done, as hubby was saying he has no clean clothes for work tonight. then there are the dishes in the sink and the mess on the floor as well as the crunching when ya walk since owen wanted to dump funyuns all on the floor. so blah on all that lol. then i need to get the living room arranged and moved around and all that fun stuff so the new recliner doesnt take up all the space in the room.

and tonight is the last episode of big brother. sigh, now what am i gonna watch for the 3 days a week it has been on. the remaining people are blah and not who i'd want or really care to watch lmao. but i'll still watch cuz i love the show lol. and im sad to see it end but excited to see who won and when the next one will start lol. so blah, the only good thing is now the new season of Gilmore Girls starts on the 20th and i cant wait lol. thats my new addiction as well. it's so easy to get into the shows i've been meaning to watch when you can record them on the cable box and watch them later lol.

so it is starting to feel alot like fall. it is rainy, gloomy out and is suppose to the next couple days. and poor owen woke up with these nasties all over his nose. of course it's been running like a fountain all day and i cant keep it wiped since he wont let me. but atleast he is letting me give him his tylonal with out a fight lol. that makes it alittle easier lol.

And hubby is still waiting to hear back from his dr about if he needs to keep doing these shots and how often he needs them done. He has a hemmoraged disk in his back that is pinching both sides and the spinal cord. And he started steroid shots last week. well he is also suppose to lose weight, but these shots make him sooo hungry. so that doesnt help with losing weight lol. but other then that he is doing good i guess lol.

and i am so glad the dr switched me to Prozac for my ppd. since being on it (almost 3 weeks now) i've had alot more energy through out the day then i did on zoloft so i get so much more done. and i've felt alot better on it. everyone has noticed a big difference in me since i've been on it. and now i gotta call and get my molars out blah. it bites but i'll feel 100% better mouth wise when it's all done lmao.

so i think all in al thats what is going on today lol
